COMMUNAL TENSIONS DIVEST MORALITY FROM THE SOCIETY

The recent communal flare radiated across the city over the death of a Hindu boy has now enclosed the whole nation. The tension instituted when a procession of motor vehicles to mark Independence Day’s celebration was suddenly stopped by the locals from Muslim community, who resisted in letting the procession pass through the place where they themselves had erected tents for national flag hoisting. The resistance from the Muslims had created the verbal tension between two communities that eventually gone physical and within a few hours the whole situation has turned ugly.

The incident of Kasganj(U.P) justifies that our politicians can easily go one step ahead in delivering their communal ideology to the people. The local MLA has been busy channeling the communal statements in spite the situation is very tense to the crowd which has been frenzied over the death of a boy (Chandan ) from Hindu community.

But the government on the other hand has been deliberately trying to look the other way with them giving free hand to their politicians in creating political gain. For them it’s been icing on the cake.

Rather than pacifying the current situation which has gone out of the proportion the so called flag bearers of our country, that meaning our political leaders, have been busy playing the mud slugging game with each other.Both the mainstream parties have been busy blaming each other.But, nobody looks to the ground reality that how much disparity has been spreading across the country. On the other hand some radical elements have been triggering the unrest across the city with their political comments passing throughout the social media sites.With wats app being the quick tool to spread message these communal elements have been quite active in corrupting the mentality of the people. I am also surprised to know that nothing is being done at the ground level to kill these acts of social tension. The local MLA has been channeling the communal statements but the government on the other hand has been deliberately trying to look other way where they should have been fully prepared to curb the crisis.
