Why BJP is not so serious about Indian farmers?
While the BJP government has been
flooding out their achievements to the public since the country’s power has come
to their grip, their biggest failure, according to me, is the way they handled
the whole extradition process of the fraudulent Vijay Mallya with the UK
government. Why the government has been protecting the person whose jugglery has
made the country going through heavy losses.Let me tell you an interesting fact
that in 2010, Mallya was elected as the member of the Rajya Sabha with the
backing of the Bhartiya Janta Party. Now the same party is trying to protect
him.Mallya has been carrying a loan of more than Rs 800 crore on his shoulder
and still he’s been partying abroad.
Now, in his place if any poor farmer had
secured a loan worth this much amount, what would have been the approach of the
government? I am sure the Indian law would have made their life hell. These law
agents would not have given that farmer much choice than taking one’s own life.
This is the situation right now the country has been facing where farmers death
rate has been escalating. The government which targeted its approach for the
2014 general election with the statement that the government would ensure that black
money holders get proper punishment has back-pedaled their decision and now
they are targeting the poor farmers. Is this not a sham from the government’s
part?
