Bihar Election Countdown

With only few months left for Bihar election , each and every party now seems geared up to face people's mandate which has always been determined on the basis of caste politics which is looking now a key factor in this present scenario of Bihar.Before Jayprakash Narayan's Uprising the Congress had played a dominant part in Bihar election.Earlier Congress with its vote bank shifted mostly over upper caste(basically Brahman and Bhumiyar) and OBC (majorly muslims), it had performed quite well there .But after Jps movement , the scenario  tilted towards a different turn.It is the result of Jayprakash's movement that three big OBCs candidate (Lalu,Nitish and Sushil Modi) and one Schedule caste man(Ram Vilas Paswan) are playing chess game over and over again to garner benefit for its side ; Lalu, Nitish, Sushil Kumar Modi and  Ram Vilas Paswan are trying to overpower each other .Lalu Yadav's movement against upper caste ie 'Bhurabal Hatao' which was pledge for the removal of Brahmin,Bhumihar, Rajput and Lala gained lot of sympathy among the public from lower caste.His rhetoric speeches coming out with his style had attracted people from every class.

Moreover, the perennial situation of  lower caste people had allowed these leaders to take center's stage.Even , Lalu himself agrees the importance of caste factor in any election.So Lalu's tactics has always been based over the collaboration of Yadavs and Muslim community .But Nitish is of different class.He has in the past used the combination of   Kurmis, Dalit , Mahadalit along with some upper caste's vote to grab opportunity.The upper caste vote he had gathered with the help of his earlier alliance with Bhartiya Janta Party now seems unclear with both shifted away from each other. It seems difficult for Nitish Kumar to achieve that favor.But instead of that , he has now looked towards his old friend , Lalu Yadav.It looks quite certain that caste is the only factor every party is trying to accomplish.

BJP on its part set the stage for its caste battle while taking up-front their leaders like Manjhi, S. Modi , Paswan and Kuswaha.All in all , this looks different ball game for each of those linning for the upcoming election.
