GIRIRAJ SINGH FACES CRITICIZM OVER HIS DEROGATORY REMARK
After, Giriraj Singh’s obnoxious
comment against Sonia Gandhi, the Congress party staged a protest in front of the
BJP's office. They demanded the immediate arrest of the Singh and also demanded
the statement from BJP's side regarding this whole issue. Meanwhile, taking this
issue seriously, the local court in Bihar has launched an FIR against him.
Following this whole issue, a Defamation charge has also been filed against him
by a local Congress leader in Muzaffarpur district of North Bihar.
Talking about the Giriraj’s comment,
Congress party President Sonia Gandhi replied that she would refrain from
making any serious comment against people having narrow mindset. Also, the party
spokesperson, in her statement says, “Giriraj Singh followed similar footsteps
as once did by the Prime Minister during Lok Sabha election.”
“I want to know where Smriti Irani is.
I hope this time she will take on Giriraj Singh similar to that day in Rajya
Sabha.”, she even added.
BJP leader Shiana NC says ,"This is shameful and Giriraj Singh can't get away by saying it as Private statement. These People are public figures."

On the other hand BJP’s ally
Rashtriya Lok Samta Party leader, Upender Kushwaha condemned the Giriraj Singh’s
remark and says “it doesn’t behove a Union minister to make such comment. A
minister holding that post should avoid making such comment.”
This whole situation has created a
new hype and this only shows this leader’s mentality. It may be for Publicity.
But right now everything is sketchy, can’t say what was all about?
