Smriti Irani files a report


Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani filed a report in Goa Police against Fab India showroom for using hidden camera inside the changing room. According to reports, Smriti Irani was in the Condolim at about 12:30 pm, where she went inside the store and spotted a camera in one of its trial room, after which she called a local Bhartiya Janta Party legislator who then filed a report in the Goa Police. The Police registered the case for outraging modesty of women and they have also seized the computer records and the hard disk drives.

According to BJP MLA, Michael Lobo, the camera was already there inside the trial room for the past four months and everything above naval could be seen.

“We saw the proceedings of the last 20 minutes and everything was captured. This is a real harm to Women integrity.” He added.

He said that he would be talking this issue to the Goa police officials, and we ensure that such incidents will not get repeated.
